I had planned on posting a picture of the wedding invitation that we were using as inspiration, but I cannot work out what I’ve done with it.
However, while searching frantically on the internet, I came across this incredibly cute bespoke invitation
Penguin Books Invitation
on Marty McColgan’s blog. As a lover of classic books, I think it’s fantastic!

How lovely is this photograph?
First Dance Inspiration
I can’t remember where I found it, but it looks amazing.
Of course, first I have to finish talking the fiance into doing a blues waltz as our first dance, so perhaps I should pick my battles…

I can’t remember whether I’ve posted this before, but I’ve come across a cake that I think would fit nicely with my vintage style.
Art Deco Cake by Martha Stewart
It’s a Martha Stewart cake, and I’m hoping that I’ll find someone who can do something quite similar for an affordable price!

I seem to have fallen into a bit of a rut of late, I’ve booked (or rather, I’m meant to have booked!) the ceremony and reception locations, the photographer and the band.
I think I’ve worked out the dress, and I bought the shoes I was looking at on the internet. That was an experience in itself, with the website only shipping to America – I had to use one of those re-shippers, so fingers crossed I did it all right!
Apart from the fact that I can’t work out centrepieces, I can’t think of what else I need to do. Especially what else needs to be worked out soon so it doesn’t book/sell out.

I’ve found another website that sells cute vintage style travel stickers and decorations at Hello Traveler.
How cute do they look?

I’m not sure how I’ve become so fixated on vintage travel inspiration, but I thought I might as well post some more of the lovely vintage travel inspiration things I’ve found.
These travel inspired invitations also come courtesy of I Do It Yourself.

Loving this photo at We Heart It.

I’m trying to work out whether to have my bridesmaids in light pink or in lavender.
This inspiration board on Prima Donna Bride is helping me lean towards lavender, but I’m still not sure.
